Langhe: wine and historical cellars

The hills of Piedmont are a treasure chest for producing some of the most important Italian wines: Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Roero Arneis Spumante and Moscato. The numerous wineries, from the biggest to the smallest family-owned, are well worth a visit: each one tells a different story and has an historic part that reports to the King of Italy or just to the great-grandfather of the family! Barolo, the "king" of wines is the master and sees up only occasionally to the "queen" of wines, Barbaresco!
